The free capture
The page address you paste is sent to this site's server, which fetches that page once and sends back what it read. Neither the address nor the result is stored. To stop one address from flooding a store with requests, the server counts captures per IP address for one minute, in memory, and forgets the count when the minute ends. Vercel, which hosts the site, keeps request logs (IP address, time, path) under its own terms.
The ledger
- Stripe takes the payment and keeps your email address, billing details and the subscription. Your store's address and your list of product pages are stored in that subscription's metadata at Stripe, and nowhere else.
- Vercel Blob keeps the daily captures in a private store, one file per page, under the subscription's id: the date and time, the status the page answered, the prices read, their currency, where on the page each was read and a hash of the matched markup. The captures describe public product pages and hold nothing about a person.
- Resend delivers the email sent the morning a reduction is seen, to the address on the subscription.
The legal basis is the contract for the ledger and its emails, and a legitimate interest in keeping the free capture from being abused for the one-minute count and the host's logs. Stripe, Vercel and Resend process the data under their data processing terms, which cover transfers outside the EU.
How long
The captures are kept while the subscription exists, since a receipt may be asked for long after the sale it covers. Ask, and the captures and the list are deleted; Stripe keeps payment records for as long as the law requires it to.
