Priorprice aims at WCAG 2.2 level AA. Colour contrast is measured on the live site on every deploy, by a script whose exit code decides whether the deploy stands.
What is in place
- Every control is reachable by keyboard, with a red focus ring three pixels wide, and every page opens with a link that skips to its content.
- The ledger tables have captions and column headers. On narrow screens each row stacks, and every value keeps its label.
- A missing day is never shown by colour alone: it is hatched and it says “missing” and why. The 30-cell strip names each cell in text, and the count above it says the same thing in words.
- Nothing on the site moves except the focus ring, which eases in over a tenth of a second and stops easing when the system asks for reduced motion. Text can be enlarged to 200 % without content being cut off, and form fields use 17-pixel text so phones do not zoom.
Where it falls short
- A receipt's hashes are 64-character strings, and a screen reader reads them one character at a time. They are there to be compared by a machine; the verifier does the comparing.
- The specimen receipt on the home page is drawn with JavaScript. Without it, its one-line conclusion is shown instead.
